Live your life like a fried egg

In prosperity our friends know us;

In adversity we know our friends.

Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of

listening when you would have preferred to talk.

Look at everything as though you were seeing it either

for the first or last time.

Then your time on earth will be filled with glory.

One who gives happiness cannot give sorrow.

One who gives sorrow, cannot give happiness.

Where there is happiness there cannot be sorrow.

A knife wound heals;

A wound caused by words does not.

You are not only responsible for what you say,

but also for what you do not say.

Life is overflowing with the new.

But it is necessary to empty out the old

to make room for the new to enter.

The soul would have no rainbow,

had the eyes no tears.
